Really disappointed in the juicer, it’s made out of plastic and seems flimsy. My old breville juicer was better material quality. I try to avoid as much plastic as possible. For a health product this is not well made

thankyou for the review. All juicers are made of plastic- this is high grade food safe plastic with altem auger etc. Your Breville is not a slow masticating juicer, like this Omega so won't retain the nutrients and enzymes your Omega will. All juicers are made of plastic, except a $3000 stainless wheatgrass juicer- even that has plastic housing. I understand not wanting to use plastic, but sometimes there is no way around it and as it is a slow juicer with high grade plastic, they have scientifically proven plastic can't get into the produce. You are more likely to have this issue with the Breville I hate to say it as it heats up the produce. Hopefully once you use it a few times you will see its benefits. regards Carrie
I love this juicer for my celery but find my fruits and cucumber don't do so well.... I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I change the nozzle once I've juiced my celery to the normal one.... Should I just leave the celery nozzle on for my apples and cucumbers?

feel free to contact us also, but when you say 'dont do so well' do you mean there's not a lot of juice extracted or that the machine isn't working well? It will also depend on the produce and how ripe it is, older produce (carrots, cucumber, apples etc) will not extract as much juice. Also you may need to give the parts a quick clean before changing nozzles for other produce etc as celery is stringy and can block things up a bit.

I know this is an expensive juicer, but after trying a couple of different cheaper options, I decided to shell out for the Omega juicer. The taste of the celery juice from this juicer is significantly better than with any of the juicers I have used previously. Even my 11 year old got into making healthy juices and it is making a big difference to her acne.
Extremely easy to use, quiet and super easy to clean.
In my opinion, this is the best celery juicer available in NZ.
It juicers all sorts of fruits and veggies with ease. I would suggest getting a book on healthy juicing along with this juicer. You will want to try new juices out, even the green ones!!
